yeah monobloc; which surprised me (i'm a ks noob)

i have not timed it yet... actually i'm abit afraid to check - the stigma of the words "chronometer" on the dial increases the expectations.

but being a vintage, i'm not expecting fantastic results.

if really out, then there is a screw between the lugs which i can turn to regulate myself! :D

I cant think of any dressy watch(like this KS) above 40mm(with crown include maybe). Anyway afterall this is a vintage dress thats mean to bring in the Seiko 60s-70s exquitsite design. Too big will kinda take away the identity ..

actually there are quite a number of vintage seiko with monocoque cases(LM,KS etc) and KS alone has many variants..but yours of course is the harder to source one,one begin a chronometer grade KS then next is the external micro adjustment knob. ;)
Re: More pics of the KS Chronometer Hi-Beat
Corrosion n pittin also OK with me...

I use to think that way too and hesitate coz of the size.

But it's a really nice change to wear a 36-38mm watch, compared to everyday wear diver and chrono.

U shld try it.

ok ok... :D :D :D just a gentle reminder that cosc rates are meant to be mean rates. Over 15 days iirc. With allowable variations of up to 10 (?) secs per day. I am sure there are some other criteria and caveats ;)
