hello from noob

hello everyone! im pretty new to this forum! developed an appreciation for japanese watches recently and purchased my first jdm yesterday (sarb043)



i was interested in digital watches as a kid and was given a f1 tag by my family, when i turned 21.

despite my growing interest, i guess i could be considered thrifty with a small noob collection:





picked an orient star for my gf when i bought the sarb043 (too beautiful to resist)





guess i must have suppressed these desires far too long and went on to order a sarb029 on the night i bought the sarb043.

i remember giving the scvs013 a miss when it was available at bigtime and was a tad upset. i also gave up the opportunity to buy a pam268 at a really gd price (equally upset).



the archimede pilot was purchased through the sg rolex website early this year. condition was superb and priced very well!



im quite excited about the sarb029 and e fact that im starting a small classic jdm collection!! :D



also intending to own a stowa flieger and nomos tangente but i think i really should wait for next year unless if i find good pre-owned pieces?



lastly, i think my collection philosophy can be described as buying value

Hope you enjoy your SARB029 when that comes in as well, the SARB's are a great line of watches, something for everyone (as long as you have the money ;)).
