Anyone knows where to buy Sumo there cheap?

Understand that Higuchi website retailing at 46,000 Yen include shipping/handling.

Ard SGD700 but need to add in 7% GST.



Anywhere if buy in Tokyo at a much lower price there?

Not sure about much lower, but Laox's site shows it at Y44,000, remove ~Y2,000 in consumption tax by showing passport at a duty-free shop:

Ofc, when returning to SG, if over $400 you should declare at Red Channel.... :P

Anyway, by right if you make purchases from overseas, you are suppose to pay GST when you come back to Singapore. "By right". I heard from tour briefing that, it's at your own risk to buy branded stuff and coming back undeclared.



Singapore is not as strict as other countries, especially US, Europe, they are very strict.



If you browse WUS, some mentioned the "risk" of bringing multiple watches for holiday, they prepare paperwork and stuff, so if they come back, customs check, they can prove that the watch was bought before and tax is paid.
