so the trick is to see whether the GMT hand is insync with the hour hand. The Steinhart one is, because the GMT hand is geared out and deadlocked to the hour hand. The lume shot one isn't.

The steinhart gmt hand is a simple geared-out hand that rotate one round in 24 hours. The second time zone is tracked through rotating the bezel. It is basically a 24-hour hand not unlike that on the cyclops.

The E2 hour hand can be adjusted independently of the GMT hand. The GMT hand continues to display home time, allowing the hour hand to separately display local time. Hence in the lume shot, since the GMT hand and hour hands are not showing the same time, it cannot be a steinhart.
