Are G-shocks cheaper in Japan?

As above bros, any one knows? I'll be in Japan tmr for a week. Was thinking of getting a g-shock since i've been toying with that idea for some time now. Any particular models to look out for? I was looking for those black with shiny gold dials in SG which seems to be oos here. :)

basically u can consider most of the frogman out there are limited editions, except for the final edition and the 1000 series which is currently available in most places.. those with the word 'titanium' embossed on the bezel, those are really rare ones.. :lol:
