Re: my FIRST SEIKO Solar Chrono Diver's 200M - SSC017P1
hi bros, is it true that no battery change is required for the SOLAR diver?

first impressions

- quite a heavy watch which I like

- diver's extension on bracelet which is a pleasant surprise

- no battery change required is fantastic

- unlike autos no need to set time if I dun wear it for a couple of days which is great if it is a beater

Re: my FIRST SEIKO Solar Chrono Diver's 200M - SSC017P1
as long as you let the watch see 'light' once in a while(once or twice a month)...it should be ok. Else you just rotate wearing it,the power should go on... dont keep it inside a 'cave' for 4-6 months lor.. cos you dont wanna drain the capacitor cell till dry... then you got buy/replace the capacitor cell set at Thong sia riao.. (one tick per second is good as compare to one tick/2 secs)
Re: my FIRST SEIKO Solar Chrono Diver's 200M - SSC017P1
Nice! i prefer this colour combination than the other variants.. haha

Re: my FIRST SEIKO Solar Chrono Diver's 200M - SSC017P1
hey bro, how much you paid for the seiko solar chrono. which area you bought it.

I am keen to buy it even though I already own a seiko solar diver but now I am going for the chrono.
Re: my FIRST SEIKO Solar Chrono Diver's 200M - SSC017P1
this is a v nice watch..... i notice that the strap's spring bar is hidden, is it removable by the side to replace the strap???

also, saw someone commented that the chrono moves like sweeping. i saw this watch at bencoolen but did not try the chrono, only saw the second hand moving tick tick quartz style.... can confirm if the chrono moves tick or sweep when activated?
