suuntos have been legendary in their ABC tool watches. The Core has been touted as one of the best of its class in terms of accuracy of it's altimeter and barometer, up to 1m in scale while most protreks have 5m scales.



but the ambit, i personally feel, isn't quite final yet. yes it's a watch with everything you'll ever need, but having a GPS that doesn't do time sync? ya they said they will include a firmware upgrade later, so i think wait for that in oct might be better.



oh and btw, it's super huge watch!

I was at parkway parade this afternoon and went into Ngee Time to enquire about the Ambit availability.



Quite disappointed when the sales guy told me the stock should arrive in 2-3wks and if he remember correctly, it is priced at $999 !!!
