We have ran a series of threads from ideas gathering, attendance polling and fees collecting.

We are glad that this has the biggest show of hands for the gathering, almost 40. I will also like to take this opportunity to thank the organising committee members: Lunarin79, oOsiMm, Big-e, Sellwatch, HerzAusStahl, funky_banana, fireal and of course myself and all of you, SCS members for the strong support and encouragement.

Most of the past gatherings are rather small and ad-hoc, loosely organised for quick get together, watch appreciation, mini trades and coffee.

So this time, it will be different. We will definitely see more watches & members in this gathering. While we slowly count down, we will reveal teasers slowly to keep you guys on your toes before the event. :lol: (Did we mention there will also be a lucky draw :o )

Remember mark your calendar, 21st April.

We will also like to apologise in advanced that we cannot entertain walk-ins as it's a closed door event, since the venue has limited capacity and food has to be catered.

Ok people, here's is the customised Seiko Club SG strap that you will be receiving during the event.... (apologies for the poor phone pic, the actual thing is phenomenal)

This is the prototype, but it is about 90% there already. Many thanks to those who had supported with personal donations (prototyping takes money, and our treasurer is keeping the creative team on a short leash :lol: :lol: :lol: ) and lobangs to make this possible :)

yup,thats the SCS event strap for all attendees.

Have to mentioned that the $15 event fee paid is too 'VFM' and its like getting $25 value back ... :D

and of course it wouldnt be possible at all without the donations. so thanks to all.

ok, some detailings are lost when it's being embroided out.

on paper it looks perfect but the overall design is still there.

lemme explain the concept behind it, this is the logo design

it's a watch case with a 4:00 crown(as most people here are avid fans of diver watches)

the 'case' stands for the letter 'C' as well so it reads 'SC'.

the original '65 was supposed to represent a crown but due to some constrain from the embroidery shop, we made some last minute revisions to it ths shifting the numeric '65' below.

so it's 'SC' with '65' below.

That's actually an awesome design! Perhaps one suggestion for the future, that the '+' be included? Otherwise, in the font on the Zulu, the '65' looks too much like a 'GS'... Also, it can also be considered the 'stem'. ;). (know it'd be impossible to change now, just a thought of mine. :))

Two more weeks to the gathering and my new 8 traveller watch pouch haven't arrive here lei..... :cry:

Go by the cheap shipping... i think it go by surafce mail...... :( :(

The two anantas are packed in a 2 traveller pouch so left 2 more in another traveller pouch which I'll pack with two seagulls...

Tio! I recommend something with a hint of gold, such as gold hands.

The seiko fff base watch with the gold hands and bezel shld be a great fit :D
