Buying Seiko for Wifey

Buying Seiko for Wifey
Thanks to the bros here for info on my previous purchase - Seiko Stargate

Now it's time for wifey to get a seiko too! But i don't think she like diver model as its a bit "chor lor" (not sure)

She got a few criteria - black face, steel strap, big face.

We've been to a few watch shops in shopping centre and quite a few caught her eye but i told her better go K2 and see cos price no diff , quality and service got diff..hahaa

So perhaps can recommend newer models in market or at k2 before we take the trip down?

Thanks for all advice!
Re: Buying Seiko for Wifey
Most of the SEIKOs have well balanced case to bracelet width ratio... such as 42mm with 20/22mm bracelet, 40mm w/20mm bracelet, 44mm w/22mm bracelet...

Maybe your wife likes big face, but slim bracelet... or don't mind at all... so it's better to check with her first.

Maybe your wife might find mechanicals "ley chey" as well... it's best if you check as well...

My suggestion, all black dials

Mechanical- SRP025/7 with SS bracelet and 6r15 50hrs movement, available @ K2

Mechanical- SRP029 with PVD case and bracelet and 6r15 50hrs movement, available @ watch fashion aka skywatches or twinkle electronics @ PPC

Quartz Chrono- SNN231/235 with SS bracelet and 7t94 2eye subdial movement, available @ HANNIFA TEXTILE @ $155 approx.
Re: Buying Seiko for Wifey
there aren't many nice models for ladies imo

but if I were to get one.

It will be only a Velatura series. I feel this is the nicest amongst all ladies models out there

Re: Buying Seiko for Wifey
