cant decide between a SNZF151J1 or a SKX009J1

hi all.



really new here.



the dive watches seem to be growing on me the past few days after seeing someone wearing it on the streets, so i've decided to get 1 myself. :D

i cant decide between the SNZF151J1 PEPSI or the SKX009J1 PEPSI

pros & cons?



and also, i saw some videos on changing the crystal to a sapphire crystal, and it looks real amazing.

i wonder where can i get it done, purchasing the crystal + fixing it at a same place.

i did some research, many mention that the crystal had to be shipped from overseas.



just wondering if i'm able to purchase and have it fix on the go here?

i wl not choose the first piece mainly b'cos of the "5" logo on the dial but...

For a true diver, I would go with the skx009. I hv not checked, but I suspect the prices would be similar.

But with the skx009, u get:

- 200m WR

- screwdown crown

- classic Seiko diver look

- crown at 4 (bcos it looks cooler :lol:)



But I must mention that the snzf15 bracelet is much better built and u get a display caseback.



As for the sapphire xtal, yobokies sells them for the skx009 and u can probably go K2 to have it installed. K2 should also have the skx009 for sale too.

My vote goes to the SKX009. I think the style is evergreen, time-tested durability, and as it gets more and more used and beaten, it looks better and better.

get the SKX divers bah....since its ISO rated diver. ready to last you many decades ...
