I'M A FAN OF MR GOH (K2)!!

I need to write this fan letter to Mr Goh. Recently, I handed him my GP World Timer which another repairer had given up on - and suggested I send it back to the AD for repairs. This would, in all probability, have led to it being sent back to Switzerland (and me being charged an arm and 2 legs after many months..). Mr Goh told me he could fix it - and I fully expected him to take weeks if not months to do it, assuming he could. I popped in to see him a few days later to buy more leather Zulus - and he promptly handed my GP back to me after a basic service - and it was working perfectly!! Incredibly, he didn't want to charge me - and only agreed to do so (at a ludicrously low price) when I insisted. Of course, I paid him more than he suggested. This man is incredibly proficient, friendly and offers tremendous value for money - what a pleasure to deal with! Little wonder he is held in such high esteem by folks on this forum.

BTW, the 2st time I visited him (the week before), I witnessed him offer to service a Seiko diver that had completely seized up with rust thrown in for $65!! I was shocked as, hitherto, I had been using another repairer whose best price (after I had given him c. 15 watches to service) was $80 for the most basic of service - and his results were inconsistent (and treatment of my watches, rough), to say the least.

Thank you, SCS (particularly Ivan, who I understand is taking a 'sabbatical'), for bringing Mr Goh/K2 to my attention. PS: I bought several Seiko baby Tunas from him at ridiculously good prices. He is a star!!!
