WTS - Seiko 6309 "Bundle", 1 Diver and 2 Dress Watches

Hi all



I bought this 6309-7040 from eBay and the two 6309 Dress Watches (both with 4 O' clock crowns) from International Watch Forums sometime back, with the specific intention of switching the Dials+Movements from the dress watches to the Diver. But now, due to work and personal commitments, I realise I will not be able to follow through.



So, I am offering all three watches in one lot, for a very reasonable price of SGD $350.00, to someone who might want to take up the challenge. :D Or you might just want to keep the three 6309s as they are for your collection :D



This bundle comprises :



Seiko 6309-7040 - from April 1982

The watch is keeping good time, but maintenance history is unknown.

















Seiko 6309-8230 - Silver from October 1981

This is a Beautiful watch, with a stunning Silver Dial. The Watch keeps good time, but maintenance history is unknown.











Seiko 6309-8230 - Brown from December 1983

This is a Beautiful watch, with a very nice Brown Dial. While the crystal has scratches, the Dial and Hands are in Mint condition. The Watch keeps good time, but maintenance history is unknown.

Hi, I have a few question;



1) Is the bezel insert original

2) Is the dial original as why it read as ''6309 704M I ''Suwa logo''



As I knowe the first 6309 ish frm 1976 to app 1980 which read as “JAPAN 6309-704LT” and have the Suwa symbol directly above the 6 o’clock marker and the others is made for the American mkt which read as “6309-704X T (Suwa Symbol) MOVT AND DIAL JAPAN CASED HONG KONG”

Yes, the Dial is original. The thing I always look out for is the bevelled date window, which this dial has. As to whether it is original to this watch, I cannot say as I did not ask that of the Seller. I got this 6309 primarily so that I could swop out with the 6309 dress watches.



The Insert looks orignal to me, but I do not have another 6309 diver to make a 100% side-by-side confirmation. I believe the hands are replacements, or possibly relumed, as they glow more than the Dial.



Trying to be upfront with what I know :) You obviously do know your 6309s :)



To ensure everyone is happy, I always allow for no-obligation viewing of the watches. Potential Buyer only need to close the deal once fully satisfied.
