Hi All,



I just bought a Seiko Chronograph watch on Sunday (7T92 movement) and I like it very much. The only problem is that the watch hands are very hard to read because it's silver and non-luminous, so many times the surrounding lighting reflects off the hands and makes it hard to read.



Is there any shop that is able to change the default hands for me to something that is easier to read? Perhaps luminous? I heard you can DIY it yourself but I don't have the necessary tools or expertise so I'd prefer if someone else could do it for me.

You will void ur warrenty on ur 3 days old immediately if u change to an after market hands...

Why dun just sell it and get a new one?

Just a word of caution when replacing hands.



Seiko hands on automatic movements are all interchangable.

BUT hands from a Seiko quartz movement 90% of the time WILL NOT fit onto Seiko automatic movements.



The holes are different size iirc.

All quartz hands are interchangeable. But just check the length

Ok, from the website provided above, how do I know if they are compatible? They say "Compatible with Seiko auto movements and ETA" for most of them, can they fit on a quartz?

Hmm, is there any reputable store where I can obtain replacement Seiko quartz hands? They seem rather difficult to find.
