+1 on no limited lifespan on automatics. However it is really up to individual... if you're the type of person who changes different piece of watch every single day, and feels that getting/adjusting the mechanical watch to run on different days is a hassle thing to do before going to work... 7S3x automovement is not suitable for you. To be frank, almost all other mechanicals is not suitable for you as well.

However, if you have some kind of habit, that hack the movement at specific time, place it back to your box or cupboard, then re-activate on the other day which you're putting back on again, hackable autos should fit your life style.

Quartz electronics is the easiest way to keep your watches run without worries of stopping. The only negative part, is having your watch battery to be change once in 2 years(swiss movement), 4 years(Jap movement).

A big thanks you to Bro Yeo, lunarin79,big-e-294 for the suggestion and comparison ..i didnt know that there so much to learn and understand got me more interested glad i stumble upon these forum.. Personally i like the SNZG15 as it kinda if rugged and sporty & it will be my first auto watch love the mechnaism but to get keeping adjusted seem like a little hassle though. Whereas the SNN233P1 i like the face dial plus the 3 button on the right & the illuminate glow in the dark hoever the metallic look seem rather heavy. Bro big-e-294 the 2 model seem rather pricey.. currently looking at around $100 to $250 if come to the worse :lol: am a poor student .. cheers

What brudder BIG-E suggested is a worth while investment, especially when you need not to worry about adjusting mechanicals whenever you're putting on, in addition, the limited life spans on quartz watches.

Since you're a student, and you have a tight budget of say...$250, by adding perhaps a little more, like 5 red bills, you could have both if you don't mind watches without warranty.

If you go to Mustafa Center, the field watch is available @ $130 without warranty, in addition it is truely "Made In Japan" as the local warranty models sole are not sure assembled where.

Couple of weeks ago, there's a shop in little india offering the SNN233 @ a price of $150. I put the lobang into this forum, another brudder here went there to get! No problem with the watch @ all!

It really depends on a little effort you put in to look out for these bargains. Just keep visit this forum, you'll get good bargain suggestions!

Citizen eco-drive are quite decent, if you are concerned about timekeeping.

i agree, a lot of ecodrives are quite ex, and the cheap ones are not so good looking (imho)... but if there are a couple that fits your budget and have everything you want.
