SKXA33

SKXA33
seiko 200m diver skxa33. .anything special/unique about this watch. Can hoot bo? can keep? your view thanks. :)
Re: SKXA33
nice watch as its also on my list. almost bought one last month but I am unsure of seller's rep hence never buy..

its a slightly bigger watch, nick monster knight, and underrated watch. Has nice applied indices and intergrated bracelet. the braclet is the one that made ppl reconsider the purchase. But for me,I am fine with it .

this is the one I really almost hoot first for 2012.. and I am still looking for one.

*CEO has one before

Re: SKXA33
IMO, it's a nice & unique watch to own, nice bezel, nice dial & nice weight to it

Will I buy one again?

Based on current mkt prices, I dun think so. Lol

Not a popular model when it was released in the US a few years back. Seiko fans there prefer the monster. Integrated bracelet, small crown and odd looking bezel.

probably discontinued in 2006 and produced in 2002-3

this has been on my radar since last year when I look into monster /knight variant series(monster knight, quartz monster, auto knight, landmonster etc) wanted to get one but then with the added postages(ems/fedex) it would be a big high on the price.

indeed with the odd bezel(but smooth turning),small crown and intergrated bracelet...sure will make ppl think twice before buying one.. but I see these features as unique.... 2 best thing about this watch(read from review) was;

-very comfy wearing nice weight and feel

-nice dial with unique applied markers

and its true..nice watch.. diver 200m
Re: SKXA33
Angelis, the original and biggest Knight advocate on WUS / SCWF / etc. seems to have pushed this watch as much as he ever did the Knights, if not more so. It may be just becuase the SKXA33's not nearly as popular, but he definitely had a soft spot for this watch. Nice catch there!
Re: SKXA33
ya angelis (angelo bro) is one of my SCWF contacts.. he has a bunch of these(nt selling) but extremely enthu in helpful anyone seeking a skxa33 ... and we have been keeping in touch via PM in SCWF.
Re: SKXA33
This watch is so special indeed! It's a powerhouse Seiko SKX Diver. I want to thank you guys also for mentioning my love for this watch (and the Knights) in this thread.

I just bought one more of these beauties....and yes, I found it with a vendor here in Singapore! There's one on e-bay right now, with a Singapore movement 2004.
