How many of you....
here can't leave home without a watch? since we have a topic on which hand you prefer to wear your watch...



for me, when even if i go down to the axs machine to pay bill i also must wear a watch. at least a g shock.

even if i go travel, i would bring along at least 2 watches with me . usually a mechanical watch and a digital one.



how many of you here also have this habit that you must wear a watch anywhere you go? :mrgreen:

I wear watch once i have to step out of my house..



Happened once that i forgotten to wear my watch out ....drove all the way from orchard to home just to get my watch...hahaha...late for the appointment by 35mins though...hahahaha

HA! i have the exact same experience.

i was on the way to tampines on a bus and i alight and took another home just to wear my watch.



my ex told me i m crazy... but i simply can't leave without a watch! and well of course.. she got mad :lol:

Hahaha...great to know i am not as crazy as my wife deemed me to be!!!



My then gf now wife cannot seem to get the correct watch with the correct strap combo thing...not just the look of the watch and strap must swee..the feel oso must be song!!!

Recently when my rubber strap broke on my tuna, I drive home to change strap.

Can't go on the rest of the day without a watch.

Okay to stay on topic, I have to wear a watch, period. I feel naked otherwise. When travelling long-haul, my usual kit is an explorer II + a G-5600.



I started out wearing watches on my right wrist, then somewhere along the way changed to my left, and now I can wear on either wrist.



For as long as I can remember, I have not forgotten to wear a watch when going out; since an appropriate watch is strapped on all the time (e.g. when I can doing chores a g-shock usually does the honours) the most is that I wear the "wrong" watch out...

Simply put, the only time I remember taking off my watch is during meals at home and when I take my baths.. Other than that, I wear my daily beater during work and my night watch when I'm chilling at night and when I go to the bed

good choice on the explorer 2. depends on which country i travel to, my usually two will be my trusty U1 and a g shock 6900/5600 (no lolex gmt for me :() if not my seiko intelligent calendar.



i've got this 'watch strap mark' on my left hand already... haha so better keep it that way lah.

guess you're still consider hardcore, wearing watch at home. i only do that when i wanna observe the accuracy of the watch, otherwise i wouldn't really wear one at home.

sometimes when I forget to wear a watch,upon realising it...will just pew wtfbbq nia...but have to make do with no watch...just use handphone lor.. but unless I am so near from home.. have to depends if I be late or anything..

Lol this thread is awesome. Yea... I agree with u guys, I feel naked without a watch, its like the feeling when you forgot to bring your phone out. I never seem to forget wearing my watch though.. perhaps I'm always looking for an excuse to wear mine! I confess that sometimes I find excuse to go out of the house just because I can wear a watch LOL. The only time I don't wear my watch is when I go to Truly Asia. Those times I do suffer from withdrawal symptoms such as nausea, sweating, shakiness, and anxiety .......... ok that's from a different reason, but you get the drift.

i agree that the nighthawk is one of the affordable gmt watch. however, after some time i feel the dial is too complex already. :lol: mine already at one corner and stop ticking already. haven't given it some sun for a while :roll:



anyway, you can take a look at this some watches with china movements if you don't mind.

i have one watch from hong kong - brand is Perpetual. i got it off cheap from sgroc, about 150sgd.

but they are selling about usd220 now! however, time keeping is quite good to be frank. picture doesn't justify the nice blue hands.

@bro looking for GMT watch: try steinhart ocean-1 GMT, it's somewhat affordable, keeps good time, a rolex GMT master homage though and the pepsi bezel is irrestable (at least to me they are)
