How loose or tight do you wear your watch with bracelet?

I was told that when wearing a watch, one should have at least some space for inserting an index finger easily especially for steel bracelet. Is this the correct way of wearing a watch?

Not sure if the index finger method is correct, but it works for me for a bracelet watch to fit comfortably.

for me i like it just nice... as long as the watch head don't sway too much when i shake my hand. then it's fine.

For me it depends on the strap type, and bracelet type.

For leather I prefer to wear snug, with one little finger or less. For rubber, I usually wear one index finger, especially if they are grippy rubber like isofranes or sinn.

For bracelet, one index finger is usually the rule, as my wrist expands easily during hot days to reduce the slack to less than one little finger. For the newer rolex bracelets, I will size to snug (cold wrist) because there is a small link that can be unlocked to release another 5mm during the day.

Comfort comes first. Diff people might suit diff tightness. Ok.. i know what you guys are thinking. :lol:

Little finger space for me.

I realized ang Moh like to wear gan si lang (very) tight for their watch strap, which I simply dont understand why.......

for me depends on the watch size(esp lug size,cutting cos might dig/press against sides of wrist more) and bracelet /straps used..

but generally for bracelet it be comfort fitting,small finger to index finger allowances.. watch still able to move bit on the wrist but not the extreme movements.. rubber/nato/zulu will be closest comfort fit, sholld not move as much as bracelet..

For me how loose or tight I wear a bracelet depends on how heavy the watch head is. Generally, if its something heavy, e.g., like the Orient 300m Diver, I tend to wear them tighter. Having a heavy watch head swinging around on my wrist tends to be very uncomfortable for me. If the watch head is light, I tend to wear them looser.

For some individuals...

Nothing wrong ley... more tight more secure, loose...no feeling.
