Aftermarket crystal mod? Dimension?

Hi. want to replace my watch's crystal from an acrylic type to a domed sapphire.

May I know if the watch using 31.0mm acrylic, should I order a 31.0mm sapphire to replace it?



*the current watch using a tension ring on its crystal.
