Just wanna check with u owners of red sardine, usually thong sia sets will have alternate roman day n the PI sets will have arab/spanish day. Do the PI sets now still no roman day option?

I just molested the PI set of red sardine last nite @ K2. The day wheel is in ENG/SPANISH.

Leather strap is from K2. Brand is Paros. Colour is a bit darker than the shroud.

Actually it's not really a preference thing though but more of like want to "experiment" a bit as never used deployment buckle before. In other words, backside itchy.



Only saw it on a cartier before and was impressed by it. I saw it in action for a thinner leather strap. Not sure if this will work for this thick strap and how it will turn out for this watch.



If pocket feel deep enough, will probably hunt for a bronze/gold tone deployment buckle that will fit this strap to experiment.

Called k2 and mr Goh does have a thong sia version. However I am going for the cheaper j version.

Went down today to see if he had the red version too, unfortunately out of stock. Thought my wallet was safe. Then I saw the brown one T_T. The price was really really attractive. Lol

edited: found the answer in yeoman's blog, the guy who own this watch reply in yeoman's blog. He painted the brown shroud with metallic black acrylic epoxy paint

A lot of the authorised dealers still carry it. But since their stock is from TS, the price is rather high. The usual suspects that offer the parallel imports at a lower, more collector-friendly price are sold out as far as I can tell. I was out hunting for this red watch a short while ago and eventually just gave up and bought online.
