Finally able to upload my SINN U1




nice watch, i have a similar brown strap for my U2, but when i put it on, found that the bottom spring bars (6 O'clock) is loose and moves around in the lug hole which is scary and irritating. Do you have similar issues?

I find U2 a bit too heavy for me plus I feel 857 is more versatile when dress up or dress down.

Overall, I must say it's not an easy decision.

Yep, U2 feels like a tank on my wrist, heavier even then a Tuna, but strangely it wears smaller than my seiko solar chrono which appears bigger and thicker on my wrist.

ooh okay damm, i only saw the 857 UTC on leather for nearly 2,9k, didn't like the leather strap, and somehow didn't spot the bracelet version; or i would likely have chosen the 857 UTC on bracelet over the U2 on rubber

Are Sinns cheaper in Europe? I'm heading to Austria/Germany soon so I would appreciate if anyone has any advice.

Hello everyone, love all the Sinns on display. I'm looking for a Sinn 356 and have been looking online only. Can anyone tell me where I can see Sinn watches in sg? Used or new ok as long as the price is right.



Also, I will be going to Austria and Germany soon and would like to ask if anyone has any experience buying there? Is it cheaper?

Sinn u can check them out at The Hour Glass boutiques in Singapore. Not every branch carries Sinn though. And the number of different models on display are few.

Every boutique got it's own discount offer after list price. Not sure if they got so-called 'standard' one.



I think that one was ok, about SG$1900 for used condition.



New one may set you back SG$2500 up. Some more I think the model you looking for is hard to come by. Used and in good condition priced at below SG$2K should be a good deal, IMHO. But keep on looking Bro. Let us know how it works out.



As a guide: I got my 142 st (with the discontinued Lemania 5100 caliber) in 2003 for a total of SG$2,272.00, and that time the GST was only at 4%! Nowadays it's 7%.
