can anyone verify with me that model no ssa008K1 is the seiko 130th anni cyclops?

if so, does anyone know what can i get it at a good price?

i've read in another forum ( not too sure which one ) that you need not neccessarily buy both watches that come in that box set.

is that true?

Depends on the dealer bro...if he dun mind sell seperateli than u can buy oni the cyclops...but price depends coz i believe they wont sell u cheap...:)

U can try K2...goh left with 2 sets abt 3wks ago but not sure stil hav or not...:)

Think movement wise same. There's another scbro that posted his cyclops , more of aesthetics and it's availability . Other than that no diff

The model I think it's a SSA005J1 - yup, it is surely PI piece.



But I don't really mind if it's a black cat or white cat, as long it's a mouse hunting cat..it's a good cat. So in illustration...I don't care if it's a PI or TS, as long as it's a good Seiko... ahh..you get the point.



Mr. Goh then somemore give his word for a 1 year in-house warranty. I will take his good will. He's quite reliable and kind.



42mm, hacking, self-winding...handsome piece la - that one. Gotto move on from 7S26/36, don't get me wrong those are reliable movements, but we all have to advance advance advance at some point of time.

OK... so I've just bought a SSA008 cyclops mentioned here. Just so it's clear, the SSA008 is not the 130th Anniversary LE watch; that is the SSA026.







However, other than the caseback not being inscribed (as seen in devil00's pic) I can't seem to find any differences between my non-LE gold/black Cyclops and the 130th LE gold/black Cyclops. Anyone know if that's correct?



Either way, i'm happy w/ the watch, the looks match exactly what I was looking for. See, I told you I don't have an LE fetish! ;)
