selling a watch in sg-roc for S$899. seller pm-ed me & asked for best price.I offered price cut by $50 fm selling price. he said that he only able to pay S$750.
I said best price is really S$800 even for watch buddies. :mrgreen:
told me buying for charity. I said ok if he tells me which charity & I'll take the other S$50 as my contribution.
he called me & said for poor child living in his block & not to haggle over that S$50.
I think chin-chye lor since it is for charity and he was so sincere (persistent).
told me he coming over to pick up watch. COD.
I waited for about 30mins then he called. thought he downstairs @ my block.
alas, he told me his bro found same watch for S$600. :(
I think cannot be so chiao can find a similar LE watch but I lan-lan said ok lor & hanged up the phone.
was quite pissed over the incident since we had gentleman agreement liao and he WAS SUPPOSEDLY ON HIS WAY! his integrity costs S$150 (GST nt included!) I also felt stupid that I fell for his "charity story". :oops:

1st story - Item : D 'Series" Rolex Explorer II
There is this SG-ROC Buyer contacted me and we meet up to deal after firming up price. Meet up liao he inspect the watch and say he really really really like the watch and will buy it and wear it as ask for another slight discount which out of courtesy i give another goodwill discount of S$100/= to him for coming all the way down to my house void deck to deal.
2 days later the guy who so call like the watch very very very very much put it up for sale at SG-ROC with a much higher price than what i listed in my thread.
I was like damn,cheat my feeling which is worth S$100/= at that time and relisted the watch just after 2 days with a 3 digits profit. After that check on his nick and find out that he's a flipper in the forum who buy watch at low price and sell at higher price.
2nd Story - Item 'V' Series GMTIIC
Posted the item for sale in SG-ROC, a different buyer from the 1st story called me and asked bout my set,full set or not and etc.
I told him full set but somehow i misplace the receipt and the condition so so only as it's my daily beater with scratches all over the bracelet and case side.He's ok with it and he came down to deal and again same story that he's looking for a watch for daily beater and again he like my watch very very very much(all buyer seems to like my watch very very very much).
After 2 days, he sms me and pester me to find the receipt if not get another replacement receipt from the shop i bought from and he mentioned that he will like to have a complete set with receipt for collection.In the end can't find the receipt and called to AD to re-issue 1 and ask him to collect it himself and there's not even a thank you from this buyer.
Same things 1-2 days later saw it listed in SG-ROC for sale with a selling price at least a 4 digits profit from my listed price and the best part is,he used my photos in his thread.Knn lazy till extreme..
From this 2 incidents onwards, i seldom wanna sell my watch in the forum liao,had enuff of this kind of bullshit story.After that join SCS hooted a few impulse buy and if i dun like the watch, I give it to my malaysian and mynamar technicians to wear who they will appreciate more than those bugger.In total now I've given away more than 6 watches to my technicians from g-shock to citizen to invicta to Vostock to 53mm homage pilot watch.
Thta's why i makes me into a keeper than a flipper/seller.
After 2 days or so he sms me and keep asking me for a
