Gold-plated everyday watch?

Gold-plated everyday watch?
My first post

I want to buy a watch for normal wear. The model that I looking at only left a gold plated version.

But is a gold plated watch werid for everyday use? IE dificult to match with t-shirt and jean?

Also also have a feeling wearing a gold watch look like uncle
Gold-plated everyday watch?
I see a lot of youths wearing the gold colored Casio too.

Gold doesn't mean it's uncle, to me it's classic, formal and dressy. Rose gold is very popular too.

Yup, gold watch look nice for dress watch, but for normal day wear think its a bit

How about a gold watch with nato band? Will it look better?

Depend on the wearer IMO..... ;)

You can put it on a nato and see if you can pull it off as a normal day wear.... alternative is leather!
Re: Gold-plated everyday watch?
I find a light touch of gold can be quite classy, jeans or not. I suppose it also depends on your image, whether it fits.

I think I've enough age to pull off something like this:

Re: Gold-plated everyday watch?
I have to agree a little touch of Gold adds class and character to a watch. Just my 2cents worth :)

Is this a vintage watch? If its is , how did you maintain the whiteness on the watcg face?

Is it a orginal or refinish dial?

That's a vintage piece, original dial. It comes like this when I got it from eBay. Date between 1963 - 1975, before they were renamed to Poljot.

I'm not familiar with that kind of services, I think there's a few shops at Golden Landmark where they provide restoration services, and I think there's one more at Commonwealth area.. gotta dig for that.

I know JW can provide case polishing.

Not really, they are all over eBay, ranging from $60 - $160, depending on condition.

You can search for poljot 2612. E.g: http://www.ebay.com/itm/120831075890"http://farm5.staticflickr.com/4092/5042402774_ca055a28e0_z.jpg" alt="" loading="lazy">
