WTS - Seiko 6309-7040

Hi All



I am offering my Seiko 6309-7040 for sale. This one was manufactured in May 1977.



I got this 6309 from a Collector in the UK. When i got it, I told myself this one was a keeper, but I'm gathering funds for a Seiko Grail I promised myself in 2012, so I had to make the hard decision to sell this beauty :oops:



You rarely see 6309 cushion case divers with the crisp red "Water..Resist" text that you see on this one. And the toned indices are really nice. The seller informed me that the Hands are original to the watch, even though they have not toned to the same level as the Dial.



One point to highlight, is that the chapter ring is offset very slightly to the right (please check out the photo). The seller informed me that this was a very easy fix, but I have never worked on my own watches and had planned to get this looked into when i got the watch serviced, but I never got around to it..I just placed the watch in my Watch drawer after wearing it lightly for a few weeks after buying it....



Watch keeps excellent time.



The watch is on a brand new, original Seiko B22 Strap.

















I am asking a reasonable SGD $290.00 for the watch.



I work in the West (near One North MRT) and stay in the East (near Tanah Merah MRT). Ideally, I can meet at One North MRT at lunch time, or at Tanah Merah MRT after office hours or on weekends.
