met a bro couple of days back, saw that he have tatts oso.



having tatts doesn't mean it's gangsta, to me, it's a form of art.

let me kickoff with mine



always wanted a tatt since Sec but it was only until late 20s then I decided to have one eventually. My parents were quite open minded about it. My dad allowed my bro & myself to have tatts BUT he specifically mentioned ' No Tiger or dragon' :lol:



It was my younger bro who went to had his done while I was still in NS & I didn't know that, only found out when I booked out on one of those Sat afternoon & saw my bro's tatt.



I thought 'Fug, he beat me to it!' LOL



I still remember i had a Nights Off & we went town with my platoon mates. Then suddenly I thought 'hey, why not do it now'



I called my bro & asked for his tatt artist contact. Met up with the tatt artist at Parklane & discussed the theme & size that I wanted. He told me he will sketch out the design & will call me when it's done while I go have dinner & jalan jalan. After an 1hr, he called me up, saying the sketch is ready.



Feeling excited, I rushed over to the shop & looked at the design.



Not bad. We did some minor changes to the drawings & it proceeded.



1st tattoo, naturally feeling pretty nervous. How will it feel when the needles poke my skin, will i jut abit from 1st contact point thus wrecking the linework etc etc...sibeh nervous.



1st contact point, moved a bit,hahaha but overall still ok.



How does it feel like when doing outline? It's like using a blunt razor & cut repeatedly at the same spot.



So, for that nite, I completed the outline & rushed back to camp,lol



Had to go for 3-4 more sessions for shadings.



This 1st tatt was done in 2001 :mrgreen:

I had my first tattoo on my lower back. My ex-gf name. Actually, to be exact, she was not even my gf then. I was going after her. Btw, she is my wife now.



Second tattoo, I had my elder's son name above my wife's name



Third one, my 2mths old son name.



The next one, a full dragon on my back. Y?



Becos I wanted one on my back since sec day.

Me got my 1st ang kong kia in 1993 when i was 15 yr old n was afraid my lao peh huck me so i chose a spot where oni the gal kana huck by me can c... :lol:

Yrs later in 2000 aftr i ORD n started into thai buddishism i got myslf a few sak yants...

Left arm a butterfly king(metta人缘) purpose

Right arm a salika(metta人缘) n a yant meant 2 improve my lao peh life

Back top a kao yord,2 salikas,a pidta

Planned 2 finish my whole back but CO kpkb so lanlan stopped!!!

Lower body i got a jap koi done by my frd who used 2 work in far east plaza.the work was nice n gd imo...:)

Found a design i liked but my CO said it looked too fierce...faint



so got my artist(same artist) to amend the face abit.



and went on to do it
