Croc belly strap.

Visited my fren after k2 just now



He's made a new strap for his ecozilla again:



Using croc belly with a sliver concho on the keeper.



Actual pics look nicer , lauzi skill again



































Sad thing strap cost as much as a normal seiko 5. sliver concho can buy 3 plus paros strap liao.....

Stiffness depends on the type of leather



Example, thicker studded. holligan style.strap is sofer in this case.

he does not have a thread on hwz.



most of the ppl on hwz leather thread are amateur and hobbyists, maybe ogl are the ppl who does it full time there.



my fren works full time , night shift 7 -8pm start till morning 3-6am.



both him and his parthner has lotsa orders most of the time, but strap shld be able to get within a week.



just go down to jln kledek look for the chinese guy with lotsa tatoo will do.



btw he's good at thick straps.... ,22 and 24mm/

20 and below, if ya looking for dress watch style, dun expect too much.



last but not least, cost, lets say a normal plain strap, no exotic leather with hand stitch cost $45, some ppl will compare with paros at $10+, those ppl usually heard price and say think abt it liao..... , its just personal peferences

still i seen many ppl at his shop doing plain straps.



exotic leather, croc skin easily over 3 digit, python maybe 50-80.



btw paros and lotsa other buy off the shelf croc style are croc print, meaning they been process to look like that. actual croc and snake skin has rougher finishing.



i am not against buy off the shelf straps, as i own lotsa paros also.



the fun part of getting a correct strap, is when u finally get it right with that particular watch, everytime u wear it again it feels good!!!



there's couple more strap makers also, if u wish to know.



my fren is more of a leathercraft man that makes bags to wallets, bike vest, saddle bags, belts, watch straps, pouches.

Love that keeper but you need big watches to pull it off.



Phantom, can he do stamping at the back of the strap ? Thinking of a seiko club strap, fireal gave me this idea yday.

I dunno he has a full set of alphabet stamping tooL ?



His fonts maybe very straight type.



For belt, he usually stamp out the whole alphabet bit by bit



1 of my kain heritage strap he stamp b4 with a flower design.
