as some of you guys might have probably know which watch by now



Ocean 7 LM-3



when I saw his post, I had smsed him to ask him if he is able to hold the watch for me until Fri(yest), which was about 1.2 wks ago. He said ok.



initially, replies were prompt when I asked him questions about the watch, he emailed me pics, 2 major dings on the bezel & on the case but I dun mind cos I've been wanting to get a LM-3 for a while.



So when the day draws closer, I smsed him 3 days ago to let him know I'm able to pickup the watch yest(Fri)



no reply. ok, I'm cool



the next day, in the morning, I smsed him again to reconfirmed the meeting time.



no reply. not so cool



later part of the day, ard evening, I smsed him again to see if he had received any of my smses



NO REPLY. BOIL



Fri morning smsed AGAIN to check whether if the deal is still on



NO FARKING REPLY AGAIN. PISSED



next sms, i told him the deal is off. No point doing a deal with someone who does not even have basic courtesy to reply.



not a cool seller.

Chill... at least u didn't go down to the meeting location ....

These days many sellers (mainly the younger folks) don't have any honour or conscience and will gladly sell their soul for S$0.01 :? ...

all these years of buying/selling, i've no problem except for this seller



i've gt a strong feeling he might have sold the watch liao so din reply me



still, must at least let me know wat.

i had few bad experiences with sg-roc as well... lowballers blah blah...



then there's this young chap who last minute jacked up the price by $100. We freaking agreed upon the price liao (i steady, din even bargain with him), he still got the cheek to tell me got another buyer willing to buy it at $100 above his asking price... end up i paid $100 more cause i traveled that far, and i was camping for that piece for quite some time liao...

you know what, that guy always type alot in his sales thread one... saying things like "i will never sell a fake"... piang eh, internet lai eh, sales reputation is built up over time, not through DIY boasting things like that...

We freaking agreed upon the price liao (i steady, din even bargain with him), he still got the cheek to tell me got another buyer willing to buy it at $100 above his asking price... end up i paid $100 more cause i traveled that far, and i was camping for that piece for quite some time liao...

you know what, that guy always type alot in his sales thread one... saying things like "i will never sell a fake"... piang eh, internet lai eh, sales reputation is built up over time, not through DIY boasting things like that...


That's sucks man.treat buyer as sucker.

oh yes soketer, i had a similar experience with a rog (or was it swx) seller, he had a fbi or cia in his nick, cant remember exactly. anyway, we agreed on the price and time to close the deal the night before. as i was on my way out to meet him, just about to lock the door, i received an sms from him saying someone had offered him a higher price. so i smsed back and asked what he wanted to do and he replied and asked me to match that higher price. I said no thank you and went back to watch my tv. got cnn seller like that. :evil: :lol: :lol: :lol:

haahaa, ya, some sellers really wana try their luck



it's wither they wana try their luck or there's really a person who offered higher



in any case, i always believed its the former :|
