Attempt on capturing textured dial





Got this from the courier roughly about 30mins ago. Aww... it was really a long neck wait that takes about 12 working days to wait for the arrival.



1st impression-

The watch itself is quite heavy, much heavier than that of my STEINHART Ocean 44 DLC, even though it was in leather strap. The big face was a tad bit bigger as well, since it was listed in UHR's website as 45mm. The orange markers compliments well with the black dial. Look closely, the black dial seems to have some lines of textures that make this piece kind of classic looking. The fresh leather smell from the strap... ohh... smells delicious.

How's the lume? Initially i thought that only the major hands are applied with the lume material, so i charged the the lume by using LED torch on the dial for 30 seconds. GUESS WHAT?!! The hour markers are lumed as well! although not so bright as the hands maybe... i guess probably due to some kind of glossy material applied on the markers that might have affected the brightness.



The package quality-

The watch is packed together with a black plastic card as well as the user guide on ETA 7750 movement in a hard-card based box with 2 clear elastic film securing the watch that may help to prevent against any hard knocks or vigorous shaking during the shipping process. Truly an economical way to save on packaging cost that may eventually passed on to their customers from different part of the world. However, the external box that packed the watch box was delivered with serious dent, that luckily does not passed on to the watch box.



Will i go for another UHR AUTO CHRONO?

You bet i will! For the price of 399euro, or perhaps another model that may cost another 100euro more...

UHR AUTO CHRONO is really a great catch that must not be missed!!!

I'm still trying to catch the lume shot ley... but my mother needs the light to see newspaper.

Somemore, my camera seems to be unable to catch the texture marking on the dial... don't know issit the angle of shooting or light brightness.

Updated with the front shots... still some kind of disappointing... cannot get the texture of the dial

Care to share the total damage??

Takes 10s can attain what u do under normal white light in few to 10 mins.

How did you manage to pay by euro? I go by paypal kenna charged about 1.775 to 1euro when the real forex rate that time was about 1.729 wor...

Paid using PayPal IPN. There is an option for you to select if you wish to be billed in your currency or the seller's currency.

I got a UHR-461 as well, paid 785 sgd using paypal rate for euros. Actually paypal rate and bank rate quite the same as they will charge about 3% extra for the rate.



Since the amount wasn't that much, it is really spare change, at most $10 difference compare to the amount you paid 700++



I requested to be shipped by DHL, since they say Fedex or DHL. How come yours is come from Speedpost?

The collection upon dispatch is handled by DHL, but the package is sent as registered package, hence when the package reached DHL Germany branch, the package was handled as regular registered postage package that eventually falls onto SPPEDPOST hand.

I also stunned! When i call DHL SG office regarding the process of the package, i was told that the package will be handled by SPPEDPOST! Since the tracking number given doesn't apply to DHL Express delivery service.



Hopefully yours is delivered by DHL Express, not what i hv went thru.
