Silver framed indice FFF dial

Silver framed indice FFF dial
Hi, just want to highlight that there is a new version of FFF dial, its made with silver coloured frame indice ; over the earlier painted frame version.

Seems pretty nice. Wonder how it will look like after installation.

Haha. It was on my wrist for that first few weeks, then it slowly die on me.

The moment I switch the mesh to another watch, it stayed in the box for the longest time lol. Even after the sapphire mod.

Loving the FFF at the beginning, especially the early ones where they still have the date window.. Just that can't get past the non-screw down on the SNZH part
Re: Silver framed indice FFF dial
No date really annoys me.

The other thing hat annoyed me was how the minute hand would stick out past the minute ring & markers.

Love the bezel insert however :D
Re: Silver framed indice FFF dial
Hey e Fff works on me man !!! I prefer the rotor-system painted lume version n e modern numerals. Maybe becos I used to own a Longines Legend Diver ND, I really like the simplicity n beauty of the configuration. Having said that, both Fff n LD r two different makes. One which is a true remake of the Legend n the Fff is the homage paying tribute to e well know Blancpain Fff. I know I wont want to fork out a 5digit for a modern Blancpain Fff No Rad tribute. So poor man's Fff is a option for me !

If one pay closer attention to the price factor, e Fff is jus a 1/10 of LD price n probably a small amount of the true vintage Blancpain(cheapest). However, I prefer hassle free headaches when comes to servicing. No thanks to those mths of servicing period. Hence, I am working on my personal Fff which I was hoping to put in my personal touch.

Damn it ! Ditoy beat me to that Black Fff w gold bezel. I was thinking to do that !

Hw is the thread lock project going ?
Re: Silver framed indice FFF dial
Bro. I'm jus abt to start to strip e watch dwn. Abt e thread lock, I haven't decide to opt for e orig. Seiko tube n crown or to go for the newer crown n thread which I got frm u. However, I'm still wondering how to knock out e tube frm e case. The other time u told me to knock out w a allen key or a rod, was that u or someone who suggest ? But if it's a black case. I afraid I may scratch it... I was thinking to soak in e acetone but dunno will it work ?
Re: Silver framed indice FFF dial
if the case is a PVD........dont try the knocking method.......sure scratch.

You may want to try drilling.......thats what was done by my watchsmith friend.

Good luck
