WTS: Seiko SBQJ015 (8F56) GMT, Ti, (used, fair) [big photos]
Some of you may recognize this watch from WUS, my forsale thread there was deleted by mod due to not having an asking price, this was my bad, for not knowing the rules. Anyway, I think SCsg might be better than WUS, no need to deal with international postage. I see that asking price is also a rule here. So I shall set the asking price at:
About the "fault"
This watch works fine EXCEPT that the crown appears slightly "bent" such that if you spin it (full-in position) you can sometimes see the "wobbling". The stem seems bent but nothing is loose per se. I tried my best to demonstrate this in the close-up HD video below. I also tried to reproduce the related problem of the watch intermittently going into year+month-display-mode even when the crown is fully in, but the fault was camera shy. In other words, this SBQJ015 is a bit faulty in that during the jostling of normal wear, you will sometimes notice that it goes into year+month-display mode.
Cosmetically:
Lots of fine scuffs on the bracelet.
Some deeper scratches on the case.
Sapphire crystal is still flawless.
There is a tiny triangular white speck that has settled near the 33 second mark, only noticed few months ago, it should be easily blown away by any watch technician. I noticed even K2 Mr Goh isn't that meticulous about dust inside.
The watch was purchased new from Seiya Japan in June 2008. Full papers and packaging are included as shown in this photo:
