another new seiko monster

another new seiko monster

the purple one, anyone interested?
Re: another new seiko monster
Bro. Magna_strike, U ve lobang ? Is it a gd price ?
Re: another new seiko monster
Well technically indigo. ;). Plus, the other 'Red' one is what's been referred to for years as the 'Purple Night Monster, so calling it Purple's going to be confusing....

Also, the Orange one looks to be a re-release of the original SZEN001.

Price is Y29,800 shipped in Japan... Or ~S$600 to get it here. Worth it? Well.... I'd prefer something closer to the $450-500 mark, but hey, don't be surprised if one shows up on Singapore's shores. ;)

Seems pricey for a 7s26 'modded' monster. Considering a standard OM and BM we can get for sgd240 or so

These are just variants and not limited edited.
Re: another new seiko monster
Never been a big fan of DLC watches.. But I agree with the bros here, I think it's overpriced for a 7s26 movmt..

I do agree, up to a point... this is somewhat overpriced (2x the Monster's price on the same site). At this range, it would've been nice if they'd placed a 6R15 in there instead. The strength in the yen does affect this is throwing this out of wack, but even comparing to the 6R15's out there this does seem a tad bit high.

On the other hand, how much will having a quality PVD (not DLC) cost? As I said, if it were priced towards the ~$400-450 range, I do think they would be justified...

(PS. forget the LE's, these Night Monster's are awesome! )

Re: another new seiko monster
I do find the nite monster nice especially the white one. That's primary because I dun have any white dial watch in my collection.

Pricewise... I do agree with coolie! So no action until it fall between swallow-able range.
