Ordered an UHR 7750 chrono last morning. Really can't resist the VFM chrono with beautiful clean white dial...





Regretting doing it in morning at home coz wife was damn pissed with all my watch purchases, how I 'sacrificed morning time' to make the order... Now quarrel like siao and she even say she will to monitor my online watch forum activities...



Will lie low for the period, and focus on wearing (not buying) watches, as well as other things in life (like my language courses and studies) bah...

IMHO we hab more important thing to shows our care / love (Beside our watch hobby) 2 our love huan (Family member)... ;)

When your partner gets too unhappy because of your expensive hobby, it could have been a grudge growing from a small complaint that was mentioned to you in the previous days... maybe like a vacation trip, or perhaps spending time with family as well as other sorts of stuffs that money matters.



So perhaps, you could take some time off, or cool down from this forum for a certain period of time... then see if home situation improves or not lo...

Never been a big fan of sterile watch, but I gotta give it to their design.. It's evergreen, clean simple, and downright classy..



With the domestic issue, what I did is: I try to get my missus to appreciate watches as much as I do.. At the end of the day, she'd agree it's better than collecting cars, and or women :D Of course, this approach comes with a risk that she might start to join you when you visit watch boutiques and hint you at a certain Cartier or Rolex, worst case: she got her eyes set on an AP..

glad to hear all is well!

i only surf forums during the day or late in the night. even my modding projects i do late in the night.

family still comes first, children grow up fast and we only get one chance at it.



that's why the SIC section on SC is very good.. coz all sc bros are spotters for each other! :lol:

So if PAYPAL rate is lower than 1.78... you might kio tio than brudder socketer whose transaction made in the past 12hrs could have kenna 1.78 PAYPAL rate.

Paypal's rates are toughly in line with CC rates, at roughly 2.5%-3% from day before's end rate, just that you will know the rate used immediately on the day of purchase.

Take it as an investment lor. As you know, collectible watches is a hedge against inflation and many vintage watches can even grow in value mah. For example, a used 6105 can sell for $1k. 20 years ago people thought this will not be possible.
