[Chronos and Lume]- Lets see what you have here...!
I guess this thread shall apply to chronos from either the european makers or japanese makers, hence shall post to this Chit Chat section.



I was arranging my collection days ago, found some of the ETA chronos had stopped ticking. Went to change the batts, it works again, lucky that the dead batteries doesn't leak. Otherwise would be up lorry lor...

Note that Renata powered ETA movement batteries are also up in price as well as the Swiss movements, it cost me now $9 to change per piece.

If you don't have any chrono in your collection now... maybe you can start with something @ good bargain and easy to get model first. Then you see whether you're comfortable with Chronos or not... no need to rush for ETA 7750 chronos yet lah... next year maybe price will drop further due to weakening Euro value.

my CO saw it and said "Nice!". Strapped it on and I have not gotten it back yet :cry:

This SS version with onion crown is 44mm version.





The only other variant with onion crown is the one with SS bracelet.





The PVD 44mm case with onion crown, had oredi discontinued...moved to gallery liaoz...

i just couldn't help looking at the lume applied on the main indicators as well as the subdials... maybe you can post a low light shot on your chrono?

Recently digged out and given a new life to the more than 10yrs SWATCH Chrono in my collection... there are folks in my company say that i try to copy HUBLOT style of strap... hmmm... u say ley?!!



After 10yrs... the Lume still acceptable

condition is very good.



u need a slightly thicker leather strap for this cos although the diameter is small, it's thick



hence a thicker strap will balance the overall look.

thanks for the advise, was thinking of getting a super oyster for it, but i dont think it is available at 18mm lug width.
