Questions about Seiko Stargate SKZ325k1

I've got an email from a friend asking me about this stargate which i'm not really sure but thought its a common stargate variant. He told me he cant seems to find it in the stores in USA and like to know about current pricing here.



So guys I like to know;



for confirmation this is a common model and still in production right? average good price locally?

Saw it on Amazon selling for abt US$200++ a few weeks ago, now left SKZ327@US$189

hmm not sure about that but dont think so fast bah...

There exists the possibility that it has been discontinued; a number of online dealers (US-based or otherwise) who used to offer these watches now don't seem to anymore. eBay also has low, low stock on all the Stargate models.



On the other hand, this could easily be linked to something like the SE Asia floods, however.... I know casing happens in China for a lot of this, but what about parts? I'm really surprised if they did discontinue this watch after 1+ years, biut they've done stranger...



And on a little segue... based on above comments, a rough price of, say, S$318.52 seems to be a good deal, eh? ;)

Great wearer for me. Maybe next year I can flip for 1k, since it's discontinued. LOL.
