Wow, indeed blew me away. Ananta is a fine Japanese artpiece. Again, I really like the color scheme. Soft touch of Gold tone, n does not overshadow the focus on e dial. The hands r really sharp looking. Wonder if it takes e form frm a Katana ??? Hmmm... Bro Kef... thanks! Me too... like the soft rose gold touch on the outer edge of the bezel, pushers and the sub hands. The hr/min hands are indeed sharp but I have not take a close examine on them yet and will do so when I have the time... but they do look identical to SD600 hr/min hands.

This LE and the chrono are both different animals but they do share the same movt though with the LE begin more refined. I will do a detail comparison in near future. Both are kept out of my CFO notice until Christmas.... which is a good time to show them out in the open.... :lol: :lol:

Basically, if you do that, you need to take the watch price in JPY, then double it for SGD. Not 100% accurate (FX rate fluctuations) but will give a reasonable idea.... in this case, S$3400?

S$3400 sounds good. Other than my Doxas (from Doxa) and ex-Vostoks (from Zenitar), I have never bought any watches from owner over internet before. The photos do not look sharp. If via fromjapan, do they hold the payment in escrow?

Only 5% usage fee (on top of local shipping, tax, etc), and paid by JPY - so, at least you're getting the crummy FX rate from your CC (~3%) rather than the really curmmy FX rate most of these places charge (~5%+). Their deposit option from CC doesn't even charge your card, it just places a hold on the credit until 20 days it's released.
I've gotten my Brightz, Landmaster, and Credor Phoenix through them (and a couple cheaper ones too), and absolutely no issues. I have absolutely no issues using them them to take care of $1000+ watches; they're hella trustworthy in my book.
And yes on the calculation. If you gotta pay local Japanese tax, it'd be slightly higher. You must pay for:
1. the watch +
2. local shipping +
3. bank transfer fee +
4. Japanese tax +
5. international shipping +
6. 5% of all that...
7. and if above $400, go see friendly Mr. GST man. :x :mrgreen:
8. Don't forget the 2.5% foreign transaction fee +.5% Visa / MC spread too! (pah! what garbage these)

No, fromjapan makes no claims on the condition of the watch, and I don't think they even inspect it (other than to see that the box is in good condition). It comes to them, and it leaves them, end of story. I don't think there are Y!J escrow services at all, the auctions usually say no claim, no return. However, even if they didn't, you'd need to get it to them somehow.
Still, these are Japanese, not as many scammers as on ePrey... ;)
