Tissot PRC 100 Auto Chrono vs Steinhart Nav Chrono II

Between the Tissot PRC 100 Auto Chrono vs Steinhart Nav Chrono II, which would you choose? Or you rather save up and get the MM300?



I believe both are using ETA Valjoux 7750 movement. Like the blue hands and lume of the Steinhart, but prefer the buttons arrangement of the Tissot. Think the tissot might be easier to flip if I decide to sell later.

But between the 2, I prefer tissot.

Between the two, I prefer Steinhart but I don't like the crown.

Movements aside...



Looks- STEINHART have the better classic FLIEGER looks with decorations of lumes, and the SS bracelet.

Other Feature wise- erm... if i'm not wrong, TISSOT have better water resistence construction than STEINHART, 100m vs 50m.

Price- STEINHART with shipping is about SGD$1.5k, TISSOT about that price right? So hard to decide...

If the resemblance to a certain IWC model doesnt bother you, go with the Steinhart

My experience with Steinhart suggests they are very value for money and personally feel they are better finished than Tissot.

I'll skip both and buy an MM300 in the near future.

The Tissot is about SGD1250 whereas the Steinhart is about SGD1350.

The WR on the Tissot is 100M, with Screw-down crown if I am not mistaken.



Would have gotten the MM300, but was a little concerned over its accuracy out of the box and whether its worth the $$$ over other swiss watches.



Guess I will wait and see which of the three grows on me... :?

It's unfair when you show the steinhart in that crappy bracelet, while tissot gets the croco black dress strap :p Try imagining the steinhart on a black croco, or even better: find a pic of one, and see the change in people's reaction :)

May not croco strap, but ...

Steinhart's crown definitely made the choice easier for some, it's definitely not for everyone :)

i'll still skip both and buy an MM300 in the near future... but if I can choose one of them as a present, I will go for Steinhart.

Steinhart nicer but at $1k++...not 4 me... :lol:

The STEINHART @ that price is acceptable, since the movement used is the much expensive Valjoux 7750, which i doubt that you can find any other watch priced below 1.3k with the same movement elsewhere.

Steinhart is nicer IMO.. Reminds me of IWC 3717
