Russian: The океан (Ocean) Project
Posting a Russian project watch here: http://forums.watchuseek.com/f10/annoucing-registration-okeah-final-edition-project-613632.html" false;

океан or Ocean is one of the first chronograph powered by Poljot 3133 that was manufactured and issued to naval officers.

$$ :(
Re: Russian: The океан (Ocean) Project
Not too sure about the design of the watch itself, personally not a big fan of blue on my watch except for pepsi seikos or gmt masters, but the opportunity to own one of the last calibers sure is tempting.. Bro roo, got yourself on the list ?
Re: Russian: The океан (Ocean) Project
The dial definitely is very iconic for the Russian watch collectors.

A typical Poljot 3133 chronographs is around the range of USD100 - 200, hitting 300 for pilot issued versions. The Ocean, goes up to 400-500 depending on conditions.

I have one myself.

One thing for sure, I won't go for the blue leather strap :lol:
Re: Russian: The океан (Ocean) Project
Remember the 1st time you lay your eyes on a Russian watch ? I bet 90% of us felt a little off with their choice of colour.. It certainly did for me.. Don't get me wrong, personally I respect Russian watches just as much. This is just my take on their colour.

Which takes us to this: they sure love their limey-bluey-greenish huh ? I don't know the technical name of the colour, it's a mix of green, lime, and clear blue..
