superdome mods
okay i placed this thread here because its not solely a jap watch feature, so it falls under 'others' :P anyway i'm rather drawn to superdome divers lately, and many of the stock modern/vintage 'milddomes'/superdomes which i fancy are rather out of reach (e.g. jlc tribute to polaris, which ironically i had a chance to get it at a good price 2 yrs back)...
am thinking of dropping a superdome to a mod diver watch, maybe a steihart, maybe a seiko...

any experiences or knowledge of superdomes here?
what came to my mind is to get a submariner-like case, and pair it with a T39/T19, but thats a rather costly combo, not to forget the need to build/source everything from scratch....
how about a skx case with compatible superdomes? or is there any superdome known to fit a sumo?
