MM300 & Isofrane

MM300 & Isofrane
Very comfortable and overhanging tail is not too bad on my 6.5" wrist

I'm using 2nd last hole.

My only complaint: keepers feel a bit thin. So scared of snapping when putting on the watch and threading strap thru it.

20mm isofrane got no vanilla smell :(

I read on some forum that the vanilla smell on the 20mm is not so strong as compared to 22mm.

If I put my nose against the strap I can smell a little vanilla.

But don't think I will do that so often

Congrats on e new strap. I would prefer the Orig. Seiko MM rubber strap leh.

I wanted to like the original strap. It looks great but don't wear as nice and comfortable as the isofrane.

I understand now why the high price for this strap.

Soft, strong and not a dust magnet!!

It sure looks good!
Re: MM300 & Isofrane
Mine 20mm have the strong v smell !
Re: MM300 & Isofrane
I thought the original MM strap is the only way to go with MM300.. I stand corrected by these pics.

Wear em in great health buds
Re: MM300 & Isofrane
I also find isofranes more suitable for my wrist and perspiration. I got into them initially because I wanted orange rubbers, but was won over by the comfort, so I bought more.
Re: MM300 & Isofrane
Where to buy the isofranes do they come in various sizes and mind sharing the damage bros? :)
Re: MM300 & Isofrane
All in to Singapore I think about sgd110 or sgd120 iirc. Mine were from the isofrane website Loh...
Re: MM300 & Isofrane
I see, thanks bro :)

is the isofrane same material as the sinn rubber?
MM300 & Isofrane
My sinn U1 rubber was less supple, and had more friction. It held the watch head in place really well.

The sinn U1 rubber is also less "breathable". So that's why my U1 is on bracelet.

Between the two, I prefer isofrane.

Re: MM300 & Isofrane
sinn rubber is silicone right?

GXGX on isofrane.. 20mm got very faint smell lah, but wash too many times the smell will fade

if you wear go swimming pool wont have those white white deposits one unlike those g-shock straps
Re: MM300 & Isofrane
try wet the keepers before slotting thru.

isofrane the friction damn high and sticky when dry, when wet like easy to in out

Please see http://www.isofrane.com/buckle_detail.htm" false;

The RS is the squarish buckle, with the iosfrane brand in the interior of the buckle rather than outside.

Since it's forged rather than stamped, I would guess the RS buckle should be better quality.

*If* I'm not mistaken, the RS buckle cost USD35 normally.

Disclaimer: Never hoot the Isofrane. No MM300 yet...
Re: MM300 & Isofrane
last time i remember RS is write milled then now write forged. comes in polished or brushed

IN is blasted finish

1st time buyers do note u can pick brand inscription on buckle or under buckle.

RS is actually the one true to the retro strap. last time also more expensive than IN without the offer.

looks like the offer's been standing for damn long already sia haha
Re: MM300 & Isofrane
Very nice. May try to put in isofrane 22mm from my tuna to mm300 over the weekend. Thanks for sharing
Re: MM300 & Isofrane
20mm and 22mm isofrane are the same length?
