One whole big round. And it returned to me.
Bought a timepiece from THG in 2007. Wore it for almost a year, and sold it off to fund other purchases in Oct 2008, a reluctant sale. Because the THG receipt states my name/addy/credit card number, i passed only the warranty card to the new owner, and told him i'm keeping the receipt (he understands, so he's cool abt it).Fast forward to nov 2011. I am quite attracted to the same timepiece again. Saw one online, showing signs of abuse over the past few years. Contacted the seller, and closed the deal immediately. When checking the watch that time, saw a very familiar serial number (maybe just my mind playing tricks), but was busy with work, and chucked the new purchase aside for few days.
Days ago i took the watch out to clean, guess what, dunno why i decide to try my luck to dig out the old THG receipt. TADA! Its my old piece!!! I now have a full set with receipt. I'm its first, and probably its last owner! What a small world! It probably got abused/raped by dunno how many owners in the past 3 years, and price difference (between me selling it in 2008 and repurchasing it in 2011) was only $200++
Sometimes life is like that. Just have to go one big round, just to get back to square one...
