Hard choices... cheapest quartz chrono w/PVD case/bracelet

For whom may be interested...

I had stumbled upon 2 quartz chrono from the 2 biggest japanese maker, SEIKO and CITIZEN at 2 different stores with attractive price tag of SGD$150 with GST inclusive.

What may not attract to some:-

1. Futuristic design- dial lay out, big sleek and stylish case, non-traditional bracelet design.

2. Small pointer marking next to date wheel that's not framed up.

3. Gradually slimming bracelet that becomes smaller and smaller till 18mm or 19mm at the clasp end. Awkward design.

4. No warranty. Export set.

What may not attract to some:-

1. boring classic 7T92 movement.

2. Black background date wheel that's not framed up, no big contrast to the large black dial color.

3. No warranty. Export set.

4. no other variant selection.

My vote is the Seiko.

wheres the shop that sells the seiko at sgd150?

you can get the SEIKO @ little india, HANNIFA TEXTILE store. as mentioned, the watch does not come with any warranty, but with standard packaging box and perhaps user instruction. in addition, there's only one model only, SNN237 with orange framed hands is not available there. the watch is displayed with the crown pushed in, that means that the second hand had been turning for a certain days, the watch is working. you might need to test on the stop watch functions before you go ahead to make the payment.

Ok... folks...

It has been 2 months since i last gave you the update on what HANIFFA textiles as well as APOLLO SELLAPAS had offered.

I just happened to visit HANIFFA textiles this evening, and was told that the next shipment of SEIKO Chronos will arrive on monday or tuesday.

This time round, there will be some numbers of PVD models. Although it's not clear what are the model numbers maybe.



There could be some slight price change, hopefully it's not a big blue bill range.



Should any of you're interested, perhaps you might wanna pop by during these 2 days to recee...

i prefer the citizen looks good!
