Watch Shop in Textile Center
Anyone been to this shop or know about the watch repair uncle ? I've been to this shop 3 times over the years and they do have modern quartz ,unknown branded or common types,few used watches for sale but a recent visit didnt find anything I like. Not sure if got secret collection somewhere or not. Though didnt see anything to hoot but an interesting visit for me esp got nice clocks there.



But this shop has the equipment to test battery and also repairman table with tools.

the TITONI COSMO KING dual tone had a list price close to 4k when it was retail couple of years back, before it is distributed under the current new distributor. After discount, it would be something like $2XXX. The pre-owned piece, if condition good, well polished, my best bet would be about $1.2 ~ $1.7k ba...

Cosmo King are quite robust, when it comes to the movement used, as well as built quality.

However when it comes to design, really too old fashion and obiang liaoz... I remember seeing one of the all GOLD COSMO KING with "DIAMOND" crystals on the hour indexes/markings and four red rubies on the 12, 3, 6, 9 positions... Too alamak for me liao lar...

My TITONIs are not so bling bling...mostly conservatively dressy. The COSMO KING/Rolex design is too obiang for me...





This is one that i prefer to take with me to wedding dinners as well as other events.

The same case design, all gold plated which have is just too "ku niang" to me... so only shows up every year during CNY period for 15days only.

I often see Pagol, Garuda, Ricoh, and a few more names at old watch shops. Some really interesting designs and colour combo, can wear to mambo-jambo type.

There was indeed a brand called as RICOH.

If you do a search in WUS forum, you'll see this name poped up in different threads.

yes, ricohs are nice, most models are on faceted crystal, size is oso quite nice for skinny pple like me :(

Ricoh has been a long known brand in Asia aside Seiko,Alba etc.. they have nice vintage autos and even tuna and diver variants. ;)

It was in the context of what astro and I were discussing, and loses relevance if taken out of context.



It is not general advice on the ricoh, nor specific to the brand. I dunno this brand well.
