The thickness of a Jenny Caribbean crystal !

One of my first caribben, branded under Aqua Dive.







When I pry out the bezel, was so amazed by the crystal thickness.







Well, I'm having some power reserve issue with this piece, so I went down to K2 to see if Mr Goh can help me solve it.





Taking out the rubber gaskets, there's 3 of them just for the crystal. That's probably why they call it triple seal monobloc case.





Look at the thickness !! Too bad I don't have my caliper with me, but I guesstimate, it should be almost 10mm ?

As for water resistant, I have some faith in the watch itself, it should be minimal splash proof. There's only 2 openings, a screwed down crown and a screwed down crystal :lol:



After all, it was 1000M during it's hey days...

The last time i service mine at JW its was due to a sticking rotor bearing.



How much it cost ?

I will let Mr Goh service it, he quoted $1XX before any parts replacement. How's JW pricing ?

If u see the gasket on the crown and the crystal are in good shape.... more likely better than splash proof... can even throw it down the swimming pool..... :D

JW cost $2XX to remove like yours.

Svc and replace the rotor bearing.
