I trimmed it on both sides to fit it into the 22mm lugs..

Yes, the SD600 works the same as Rolex's GMT movement. Two differences are that the SD is electromechanical, while the Rolex is mechanical; the SD hacks when setting the hour hand, the Rolex does not hack when setting the hour hand.

Otherwise, the SD delivers the same functionality. When adjusting the hour hand BACK past midnight, the date changes back to yesterday's. Awesome piece, in the metal it exceeded my expectations. The titanium is good for a travel watch because it is self-healing over time.

Kermit Frogman price is atrocious... I doubt I would ever pay so much for a Casio. So far the most expensive casio I had is the White Kuppo which only cost me 299 then. MIJ too.

SD600 hacks at both position 1 and 2

I think I mis-led you. When I refer to the GMT hand, I was referring the 24 hour one, not the hour hand. =P
