sibei sian, yesterday drop my seiko sportsmatic from ard waist height....
i started to test test the watch.... to my horror, the time slowed down by 6 mins for the past 3 hrs.....
OMG, summore this is my daily beater cos i only got this watch....

Hold the watch with caseback sitting flat against your palm. support/ hold strap/bracelet between thumb and side of palm.
Next in one quick move slap the watch face onto your other open palm so the watch is faced down and sandwiched between your palms (like clapping your hands).
What happens is, with the 7s movt, when dropped or hit at a certain angle, the hairspring screw get caught on something. By slapping the watch face down on your palm it will dislodge it.
I've done this before on my Seiko 5.
When the screw gets caught, the watch goes Ti-Tooock, Ti-Tooock instead of tick-tock, tick-tock (the amplitude has changed, so time will slow down or speed up)
OR you can bring it to Goh and he will fix it in 10mins.
