if you had asked this question a year ago, i would have said skx007/11. it wasnt love at first sight for me with the Monster, but after wearing it, i can understand the hype.

It really is a very solid watch and for me, it is more comfortable to wear than the skx007/9/11







outside the 7s, i'll have to agree with roo7.. seiko sinn :twisted:

i used to have a frankenmonster for daily wear, 1 of my favourite diver with solid lume.



Had enough fun, then backside itchy, flip it away.



and my favourite 7s diver for now...SAMURAI! :lol:

Seiko Spork is my choice if given a choice out of 7S movt. Else I think Seiko BM w 7S movt. VG VFM n looks really rugged for any casual occasion. U wan monster for shirts, wear it on Bracelets or exotic leathers. For sports, wear it on Kelvar like Maratec or NATO/Zulu strap. So many options !



Some might be thinking Y not SKX??? Well, Monster has it own DNA. A much different frm other makes unlike SKX which IMO SKX has quite a few similarities to other watches in e market. My view on SKX is based on my observations n all pts r basically my opinions. Not to bash any other SKX lovers out there n I do ve a SKX which I do wear besides my Monster. :mrgreen:

flipped this orange dial skx 3 yrs ao & regretted ever since..heng I found back the black dial variant, skx421..have not collect yet, its still with my fren :)

SKX007K on jubilee is my favourite, classic design overall. Cleaner dial than the J (don't like the 21 Jewels line).

Orange Monster SKX781 distinctive in its own right, a modern classic.

SNZF17K Seiko Submariner also nice with solid links and the preferred safety clasp and 2 pushbutton release.

SKX171 on president bracelet also very classy and dressy.
