Had any folks noticed recently? Some batches of SEIKOs...
...had a "P" in some of the automatic models? Such as SKNxxxPx

example- http://www.skywatches.com.sg/reviews/seiko-automatic-world-time-watch-srp039-srp039p-srp039p1.htm"P" is only present on most of the quartz chronos. But this new lots on autos really surprised me.

What's really the difference, is the any thing about the strap/bracelet combination?
Re: Had any folks noticed recently? Some batches of SEIKOs..
P / K = International models, assembled in Hong Kong or other places (not made in Japan) - applicable for non GS model

J = international models, made in Japan - applicable for non GS model

G = international model (made in Japan) - applicable for GS only

J - Japan domestic model (made in Japan) - applicable for GS only

All the while i know about the K or J representation, it's either Japan or Elsewhere(this is where the confusion is... some say assembled in malaysia, thailand, china, vietnam...now u mentioned, hongkong?)

It is just a little surprising to me, that previously most of the P makes seems to be fall on electronic models...
