Plenty of used ones for sale in sg-roc leh... inexpensive and quite a value-for-money (at used prices) rolex. New is now 9k+ without discount. The newer model launched this year is 10k+.

Gasket looks new to me. Think it's a problem with left over moisture after the last servicing.

Probably need to clean up from crystal from the inside too.

But I'm not going today. Kinda lazy. Let you know if I'm going down.

Re: Wruw on 1st nov
OT a bit cos got a question, assuming gaskets are good;

actually hw to correctly (or normal procedure) remove moisture in inner crystal layer or built up ard movement?

Last time I got a manual chrono watch also with appearing moisture in the innerside of crystal, all I did was to remove movement from case and let it nature air dry, clean the moisture on crystal then put them back ....that's about it.

Also can use hairdryer(can alternate between hot and cool air mode) blowing from a distance, targetting at the movement, gap ard movt and dial...allowing air to go in and dry the moisture. perhaps with crown pulled out 1st/2nd position.

any other methods bros use?

I unscrew the crown, sometimes for serious cases unscrew the caseback, and drop the watch into my wife's cameras' dry cabinet.

I tried that, doesn't work for me, I left it inside for 2-3 days.

Ideally, just remove the movement, wipe dry the crystal and make sure you assemble it in a dry environment.

Here is what I've tried before many yrs ago b4 I got interested in watches.

I wore my swatch into the shower forgetting to take it off. It got a small splash but was still ok.

So I took it off and placed it on the sink vanity while I continue to hv hot shower.

Naturally, whole bathroom steam up and after shower I realised steam/moisture was inside my watch.

As u all know, swatches don't have casebacks, so I removed batt compartment and batt.

Turned on the hair dryer and blow hot air onto the xtal while holding the back side up. Did this for abt a min and the moisture was gone.

It never came back and the quartz chrono worked fine.

Did it damage the circuit? I don't know. But the watch worked for 4yrs after that before I sold it away.

hehe wear watch to hot shower is dangerous man....esp if its not a diver or is a vintage..

Dont think the circuit board was damaged in any way as probably you were quick to solve the moisture issue.. and for quartz, unless the moisture in it is a lot and remained on the circuit board for longer period of time...then damage(corrosion, brittle circuit board etc) will be done.. moisture for quartz is easier to handle than battery leakage...always gone case one..
