SIC my Affordable O.M.T Watch

Was at k2 early this week with oOsimM bro when ah goh showed me this watch asked me if i'm interested. From afar it looked welly nice, I thought: wah lau, must be sexpensib de lor..



when i received the watch, I looked at the brand: O.M.T i was like: err..ok, simi brand lai eh :|



The watch was pretty solid & heavy sia & bloody thick



I was telling oOsimM bro: wah lan, still got Helium valve one!





this watch belongs to another seasoned seiko collector, a friend of Yeoman & badrun :mrgreen: He passed to goh, ask goh to ask me if i'm interested.. ;)



but i was attracted to the bright orange hands against the black dial, 7 needles somemore. I thought it was quite cool too.





Then ah goh told me: Teo, this is not chrono watch hor!



I :shock: again. Then wtf was the pushers for? Then Goh told me, the supposedly 'Helium valve' is a q-set pusher for the Day subdial etc etc...then i ish rook more carefully..



ya man..kns! hahaa, the 10:00 sub-dial ish Day, 2:00 ish Month & 6:00 is 24hrs. Ok..i geddit now,lol.



But i love the Date pointer ;)





Onz the deal & mount it on my 'on the way distressed' paros strap





Thick chunky case & see-thru caseback, my guess is a chinese movt, able to hack & hindwind as well.

Overall, keeps decent timekeeping for the friendly price, cannot hiam liao :D

molested this today... one damn solid looking watch.

wat :o :shock: at the 18mm thickness!

this 'chrono' when worn sure looks nothing like a normal watch,ppl will think its a chrono and the helium valve still looks like a valve to me....haha



When I first saw this watch,I noticed the thick chunk of bezel thats very robust and manly looking lor..also the insert looks nice. for such black white(dial,hr marker,bezel insert)combo,best is to have orange/redish hands cos will standout....I love watches with orange hands lor...especially chronos.



I never seen these kinda movt and its special to display the month/day/date/24hr/current time.can hack somemore....
