Made a bid on ebay and won a HMT watch. Bought it cos it was quite slim, manual winding and has that old school dome crystal.

It was supposed to be shipped from India, but it came with a Singapore stamp and postmark :?:

Hopefully this isnt selling at Mustafa for less than what I paid for it. :oops: But anyway.. paid S$18 only lah. So not that bad.

that's why i'm quite surprise that you can get @ that price... it's either you're one lucky one that had stepped onto a dog's "gold" or the seller is a total clueless. from what i've read, the power reserve is not really so "blink blink" right? something like less than 30hrs... is it true?

Just got it today only. Will see how it performs in 30hrs. Actually the gold Sonas not really in demand, but still had to wake up at 3am to be sniper to get it at that price. 8-)

I tried to bid on the black and white Sonas also, but the bidding too fierce liao.

Haha.. but unlikely for me to change the strap lah. A new strap would probably cost as much as the watch :lol:

Anyway, the brown gator strap looks quite decent

The watch just stopped running after about 41.5 hrs. Not bad...
